GREENLAND

People are watching helplessly and fleeing aimlessly for survival, as flying meteors come crashing down on Earth, causing extreme chaos.

The government have notified only selective people who they believe are worth rescueing, those who are skills of value to offer, which the Garrity family were lucky enough to be selected.

John Garrity (Gerard Butler) was selected because he is a structural engineer, which gives a free pass for his wife Allison (Morena Baccarin) and their young son Nathan (Roger Dale Floyd) to embark on their journey for sanctuary, where they were issued bracelets as their ticket for entry.

The trio encounters many obstacles, experience the best and worst in humanity, while time is ticking away ever so quickly for their chance to reach their safe haven in Greenland.

Another end-of-the-world apocalypse type of movie – slightly different story, different cast and different year. I do enjoy watching Gerard Butler – great actor, which I believe carried the weight of this movie and made it worth watching.
