WOW… Words cannot describe this show! ‘The Hair
Salon’ will totally blow your mind out, very entertaining, quite cheeky
and the best I’ve seen for Sydney Festival 2017. ‘The Hair Salon’
features ‘The Big Hair Show’ where a duo “Frizzella”
and “Permella” are the brains and writers behind this show starring Bob
Downe.
It is like a non-stop variety show where Bob Downe sings songs
“his way” – ever so funny! He somehow magically gets the audience
involved to sing along with him, that’s the kind
of power Bob Downe has, seriously! Love his “groove” steps and his
outrageous outfits.
Then you will have acrobatic acts, the lady who
performed acrobats was very flexible indeed and managed to perform
awkward acts that looked simple.
What I wasn’t prepared
for was the pole dancer, he was just as funny as Bob Downe but he too
performed difficult tasks that looked simple as well. But that wasn’t
what I wasn’t prepared for, it was his cheeky gear he was wearing that
made his performances laughable, all in good
taste, that is.
They even have a different guest per show, we had the
pleasure of being entertained by Paul Capsis – an Australian singer and
actor who is best known for his cabaret theatre roles.
The show starts
at 8.30pm – understandably, it’s not for young
children’s viewing due to their cheeky performances and remarks. ‘The Big Hair Show’ is on Wednesday to Sunday but hurry, this will all come to end on Sunday, 29th January 2017.
The location is at Hyde Park known as the Meriton Festival Village on
the Village
Stage – there are other shows prior and after ‘The Big Hair Show’
should you want to go earlier and want to stay till late.
This is
definitely a “must see” event, 100% guarantee of “fun and pure
indulgence” with that added “twist” of their personalised uniqueness!
Again… it’s for FREE. What more can you ask for?
